Located on Madison, Wisconsin's west side, Wexford Village is a quiet neighborhood conveniently tucked away just 15 minutes by car from downtown Madison and the University of Wisconsin. The neighborhood has the reputation of being one of the city’s safest neighborhoods.

Green spaces like Wexford Park, Stricker’s Pond, and Wexford Prairie (Lot 400) also make Wexford Village ideal for outdoor lovers. Well-maintained walking and bike paths can be found throughout this very desirable neighborhood. Amenities such as the High Point Swimming Pool, Ashman Library, community gardens and neighborhood youth soccer/baseball make Wexford a delightful place to live. We have many annual events that are loved by residents. Nearby there are plenty of wonderful restaurants, shopping, and places of worship at quaint Middleton, West Towne Mall, and downtown Madison which are easily accessible to all residents by walking, car, bus, or bike.
The majority of homes are single family but also include condominiums—the communities of Saukdale, Quail Ridge and High Point Gardens.
We are anchored around 20.6 acre Wexford Park which offers a comfortable park shelter, large playground, tennis and pickle ball courts, volleyball, frisbee golf, two ice skating rinks, soccer and baseball fields, AND an adjacent woods with walking paths. Truly a gem of a neighborhood!

Each Fall, Wexford hosts a neighborhood Potluck & Picnic at the Wexford Park shelter on the Saturday evening the week after Labor Day weekend; this year it is September 12th, 2026. This fun event begins at 5:00pm. Enjoy one more night in the park with your friends and neighbors before the leaves fall and the snow flies! Share your summer vacation stories. Sign up to bring a “dish to pass” and bring lawn chairs or blankets for you or your family. We provide the grillables (hamburgers, brats, hot dogs, veggie burgers) along with chips, ‘smore fixings, and non-alcoholic beverages. Information regarding the End of Summer Party will also be on the Wexford Facebook Page closer to the event. Volunteers are needed to help! Please use the Volunteer page to share a small bit of your time keeping this wonderful event an inspiration for other neighborhoods.
